Software Testing

Yesterday I took some nursery furniture to my best friend. While there, he asked me to do some software testing as he's a code writer for Autodesk. The program is supposed to be simple and intuitive, but I did the same thing wrong as practically every other tester they had. As I continued though, I was able to make suggestions to improve the interface. Nearly all of them had already been submitted to the engineers, but I did come up with one unique solution. I feel really good today having contributed in that way. I'll have to ask later how the other writers reacted to my suggestion.
